Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. As a child, she was inspired by Boleros, classical music and the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana loves tangos as well drama and opera. At age 16 she began to sing and study the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to provide her with more intense singing instruction. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera choruses and chamber ensembles. Following her move in America, United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she moved to southern California. She performs solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a musician and teacher, she is committed to many projects in the community due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana has been a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to do the same.
